Bio: David Honrubia is a vocational illustrator who started his training at fifteen after registering at the School of Plastic Arts and Artistic Design in Catellón, Spain. There he trained for four years, experimenting with different artistic techniques. After his second cycle as graphic designer, he felt attracted to the world of the illustration as a means of expression, and decided to give up the mouse for the paintbrush. David completed his training as an illustrator in the school of art, La Llotja, in Barcelona. His artistic life is a mixture of different methods of expression: photography, theater and illustration. Theater and photography are two of his most influential sources of inspiration for graphical work. David has collaborated with Spanish entities such as El Casal de la Dona y La Asociación Profesional de Ilustradores de Madrid (APIM). David’s pictures are inspired by rugged scenes from television, in the street or those related to the social world.
