Bio: Daniel Chavez, an artist working in digital art, mixed media, and oil and acrylic paints, hails from Santa Paula, California. His interests change constantly, like everything else, but he likes to paint the things he sees around him; especially the order he sees in nature, buildings, cities, people and machines, and how it translates into points, lines, shapes, and color. Past and upcoming art shows include the De Colores Art Festival, the 2008 International Art Show Arte Bogotá, Artists For Peace International Art Action Istanbul 2009, and the Mirca Group Art Show, forthcoming in February 2009. Daniel has done graphic work for the clothing company Rock Paper Vintage, and will be one of the artists featured in the forthcoming book,
